About Jonathan

Jonathan was the first PGA Qualified Teaching Professional to join the Elite Golf Academies team when they first started operations in the North-East. Jonathan started playing golf when he was 4 with his dad and has never stopped, he went to College in the States on a golf scholarship, playing for two years in Texas and one in Florida. When he moved back to the U.K. he started on his PGA qualification and worked on his playing while focusing on his passion which was teaching others the joy of golf. He has taught all levels of golf for over 10 years, and has further qualifications to deal specifically with Juniors and the introduction of young people to golf. In recent years he has undertaken further education in order to focus specifically on Putting and all elements of the short game.
