Darren Webster-Clarke has spent over two decades on the sharp end of elite golf coaching—working with some of the world’s best since becoming a full-time Tour coach in 2000. From Major stages to amateur world titles, his impact on the game speaks for itself.
He’s coached multiple European Tour winners including Alex Noren, Thomas Bjørn, Søren Hansen, Richard Green, Rikard Karlberg, and Kristofer Broberg, and has guided LPGA players, amateur world champions, and a Silver Medal winner at The Open. His experience spans the full spectrum of performance—from first-tee nerves to final‑day pressure.
Darren was instrumental in the formation of Team Norway, laying the foundation for breakout talents like Viktor Hovland and Suzann Pettersen. His coaching pedigree includes extensive mentorship under Peter Cowen, where he helped set up Cowen’s teaching academies, followed by seven years studying with swing pioneer Mac O’Grady.
Today, Darren leads performance coaching at Elite Golf Academies Sheffield, in partnership with the cutting-edge team at Zen Green Stage. His mission? Fast-track improvement and fuel enjoyment—from Tour players to club golfers to those using golf as a tool for recovery.
Off the fairways, Darren is helping pioneer golf-based rehabilitation initiatives, including a groundbreaking new programme supporting Parkinson’s sufferers through movement, rhythm, and gameplay.
